Dear members of St. James:

During this time of social distancing due to the Corona Virus pandemic I remind you that if we cannot physically gather as the Body of Christ we can still gather spiritually.  We especially invite you to join in prayer at our normal Sunday worship time at 10:45 AM on the upcoming Sundays! Perhaps we can feel spiritually connected this way.

We remind you that the daily lectionary Bible readings and prayers are listed in the Kirchenblatt. They are on pages 8-10 in the March edition.

Also, there are some younger pastors in our Conference who are more skilled in creating online worship and devotional live experiences than we are. If you can do Facebook, check these pages: Bethany Lutheran Church, Zion Lutheran Church – Hollidaysburg, PA, St. Matthew Lutheran Church, as well as Allegheny Synod 8C. These churches also may have resources on their websites. I have shared several of these on our own St. James Lutheran Church, Altoona PA Facebook page.
